Ever wanted to know the history of Little Space Heroes (Space Heroes Universe)? Well here you go.

Pre-Launch

On about 17th may 2011, little space heroes made a pre-launch of the game. In the pre launch, coins were much easier to earn, games were different, and in different places!

Not much is known about this stage, but here's two pictures I found.

(In the stage before the game went online, you could only play the mini-games)

Then was the actual online game!

Since there was no map at this time, players would have to get to places by other means.

Such as walking, or using your jet-pack.

Beta

Little Space Heroes beta, was launched September 29th 2011 07:33:53.

This means, there was some bugs in little space heroes, which could have made you lose coins, or other things like that. Little Space Heroes had a feedback button (like they still do now, on the right of the game), so that players could submit the bugs, and get them sorted out. In beta, heroes were a full player (premium member). This meant you could do anything at the time, such as buying clothes and items for your house. You also recieved a beta bomber jacket. After the beta finished, the players were gifted with the jacket to keep, and a beta badge.

Beta was much like the little space heroes we know and love now, in the late stages.

On around 14th December 2011, Little Space Heroes Beta ended, there was a small party the next weekend to celebrate the beta surprises. (Items that beta tester got after beta).

First Newspaper

The first ever issue of the galactic times, came out around 11th November 2011.

Christmas Party

The little space heroes Christmas Party, was the first real big party in little space heroes.
This party started around 9th December 2011.
Nothing was really received in this party, there were no giveaways or party pins.
However, the decorations were amazing.

Chrisdog's Parties

Chrisdog93 the very famous club penguin blogger, hosted a number of parties on little space heroes, 

First party: 17th March 2012

Second party: 24th March 2012

Third party: March 31st 2012

Fourth party: April 14th 2012

Fifth and final party: April 21st 2012

At the parties, Chrisdog gave away exclusive party pins, purple jackets and free memberships.

 

Bubble Bunny Party

The Bubble Bunny Party was the little space heroes easter party.
Little space heroes based this around the Easter Bunny.
New balloons were added in the bubble bunny party, and you could eve get your hands on a bubble bunny badge!

Mimo's Party

Mimo, the famous Club Penguin player, hosted a party on little space heroes on the 5th May 2012

Second party: May 26th 2011

At Mimo's parties, he gave away 20,000 coins, a pupki kritter and 3 little space heroes memberships.

(Much like Chrisdog)

You also received a Mimo's party pin.

Super Hero Party 2012

The super hero party started on the 22nd of August 2012, it was another of little space heroes major parties. The party was fully decorated, and there were many pop-up parties within this time.

Super Hero outfits were released at this time, even giving heroes new powers, such as teleporting short distances, turning people into ice, shooting bubble gum, and even a shrink ray!

Brand new balloons were also created by the space heroes team.

The super hero party officially ended on the 9th of September 2012.

Jungle Party

This party was released on the 13th September 2012. 

This giant party quickly followed the super hero party.

Despite popular belief, I do not think this party is the Halloween party, as a little space heroes moderator has recently told me that there will be loads of cool Halloween themed items to buy, which is not the case in the jungle party. This party also released a new game, where you take pictures of outer space to earn points, and also released a new temple room.

 You also received a jungle party pin when logging on to little space heroes, much like the previous little space heroes parties.

There are many new little space heroes graphics, symbolising this party so far.

Halloween Spooktacular 2012

On the 24th October 2012 the first Space Heroes Halloween Party arrived, bring with it tons of new outfits, decorations and even name changes!

A new game "Witches vs Zombies" was created for the occasion.

The Halloween party ended on 7th November 2012.

On the 15th November 2012 Space Heroes Universe set a huge milestone and hit a total of 1,000,000 registered players. A special 1 million players space suit and badge was then added to the game.

2012 Christmas Party

The second Christmas Party hit Space Heroes Universe on the 12th of December 2012, and this time instead of just decorations. There was new christmas outfits. A Christmas badge, gifts special balloons and even furniture!

The Space Heroes team then ran a "12 Days of Christmas" event, where they would release one new promo code every day for 12 days. The promo codes contained coins and unique items.

The 12 Days of christmas ended on the 28th of December and ended up spelling out "Have a spacetastic, joyful and awesome holidays heroes, you rock the galaxy! Happy new year!"

On 13th December 2012, while the Christmas party was up Space Heroes Universe had its one year aniversary. This was celebrated by the staff and the players, but no updates or changes took place.

On the 20th December 2012, Space Heroes Universe also did something impressive and released their first episode in their space heroes universe cartoon series.

Galactic Fun Fair Party

The Galactic Fun Fair arrived on the 14th February 2013.

This wonderful party brought with it a new clothes catalog, new band instruments, two new kritters (Growly and Roner) and even a new multiplayer bowling game!

Dive Deep Party

The Deep Dive Party was just around the corner, arriving on the 25th February 2013.

Deep Dive party outfits were available to purchase for members, and acted similar to the Super Hero Party costumes, as they came with powers to show your friends! Waiter and waitress outfits were released at the same time, but had nothing to do with the party. 

The diving belts returned to the game, and any player was able to buy them!

Bubble Bunny Party 2013

Next up was the easter party. 

Earlier than the previous year, the Space Heroes Bubble Bunny party hit the Homeworld on 26th March 2013. This party, like the others gave a unique badge.

During this party, you were able to walk around and collect a goal of 20 eggs.

This is what happened when you reached a total of 20 eggs without logging out.

The Bubble Bunny party is quite unique, as it is the only party to feature a rare mascot.

Although this mascot was quite hard to find, you did not receive anything from it.

On April the 2nd, 2013. Bubble Gum Interactive (the company behind Space Heroes Universe) announced that it was partnering with Empire Multimedia Corp (A largely Asian based licensing company). Meaning they can act on behalf of Bubble Gum Interactive to distribute and manufacture sales of goods/services. Meaning that this was the start of the development of space heroes toys and merchandise. 

On May the 2nd 2013, Bubble Gum Interactive then partnered with AT New Media and Virtual World Licensing. Two other licensing companies which specialized in the world of gaming and toys, both Uk based.

Super Hero Party 2013

Surprisingly, the Super Hero Party returned once again on the 9th of May 2013.

This was quite unusual as the Space Heroes Universe homepage was changed to 'Secret Agent Party' theme, just before this party hit. We learned later that the homepage was just a test and that there would be a Secret Agent Party later on in the year.

This Super Hero Party featured a new badge and different (but mainly the same) updates.

The 2013 Super Hero Party ended on the 28th May 2013.

On the 27th of June, 2013... The Galactic Sports party arrived!

The Galactic Sports party was new to SHU, and so there was a lot of brand new content. This new content included a new party pin, a newly decorated homeworld, new decorations for your very own homepad, and eight new Galactic Sports Day themed costumes!

The Galactic Sports Party ended on the 10th of July, 2013.

On the 8th of August 2013, the Secret Agent Party hit SHU!

The Secret Agent party was also like nothing we had seen before. New starjets were introduced, as were new secret agent costumes, and of course a secret agent party pin! There was a massive lead up to this party, and this time also contained a load of background updates which helped improve the security of the website.

The Secret Agent Party ended on the 30th of August, 2013.

The next part wasn't too far ahead, and before we knew it, the Fashion party had arrived! The fashion party arrived on the 25th of september

The Fashion party brought some new wicked hairstyles and outfits to SHU! Allowing heroes to show off their new looks by striking a pose on one of the many new Fashion party decorations around the homeworld!

Next was the 2013 Halloween party! The Halloween Spooktacular came on the 24th of October. Plenty of time before the 31st! This Halloween Spooktacular was much like the 2012 Halloween Party, including the same outfits and gifts. However a new Halloween Party pin was added.

On November the 1st, Moderator Ari, also known as the community manager of Bubble Gum Interactive Jasmine, quit. Ari was incredibly helpful to bloggers and heroes, and was often the main source of our sneak peeks. She will be missed.

On the 14th of November, an unexpected sequel Jungle Party was released!

I must note that this Jungle Party was disappointing as no new content was introduced, if you already had the party pin from the last Jungle Party, you did not receive it. Even though the update was the same as last year, we still managed to have a lot of fun!
