Little Space Cheats

Meet the Team: Cool Casper!

Today I’m excited to introduce you to one of the most talented Spring Bot Smashball players this side of the milky waves, Casper!

What is your job at Little Space Heroes?

I’m another one of the awesome members of the dev team (‘brogrammers’) at Bubblegum Interactive. I work on a variety of different things from developing new minigames for the virtual world, working on the virtual world itself and even developing mobile games!

Are you working on anything exciting now?

At the moment I’m working on building an outta this world mobile game for Android, IOs and tablets. Just wait till you see ‘em. I am also working on the virtual world with Ant, aka Chubby. Together we make an unstoppable team, making the virtual world even better place for everyone! There’s no code that we can’t crush!

What’s your favorite thing to do in Little Space Heroes?

I really enjoy socialising with all the heroes out there and I enjoy seeing the fun and creative ways that everyone plays the game. It’s really funny to watch players pretend to be cops and robbers, or at the moment, heroes and villains with the new superhero costumes.

Any tips for Spring Bot Smashball?

Like anything, you’ve got to practice, practice and more practice! For 2 weeks I pretty much played the game all day every day while I was developing it! Also, try to collect and use as many powerups as you can! A well-used powerup could mean the difference between victory and defeat!

We hear you love the outdoors, what’s the coolest thing you’ve done recently?

Living in the middle of a big city like Sydney, without a car, It’s a little hard to escape the city and experience the outdoors. Whenever the weather is nice I love to go running around nature reserves. The most recent and awesome outdoor thing I did was going hiking in Norway (Here I am ‘cliffside’!)

Do you have any advice for someone who wants to become a Flash Games Developer?

I think best way to build your skills and get noticed as a flash games developer is to just start creating and releasing your flash games. I’ve been developing flash games since I was 15, submitting my games Newgrounds, Kongregate, Armor games and other portals. It’s really easy to get your work out there and get feedback from people from all around the world.

Casper’s name is Caspernicus in Space Heroes! If you see him in the game, say hi!

I'll have to practice to beat you and Adrian at Spring Bot Smashball! :D

Little Space Hero Pizza Parties!

Being a Space Hero means every day is full of amazing adventures. There’s just so much fun to be had in the galaxy, from exploring distant planets to travelling through swirling wormholes, diving underwater on the homeworld or rocking out at a mega-concert at Star Struck.

All this fun and adventure can lead to massive appetites and get hero tummies rumbling louder than Smashbot’s rear furnace!

Never fear, there’s plenty of places to find some delicous bites to eat. And at Astro’s Pizza, you can help out. Head into the kitchen to cook up burgers, veggies and scrumptious pizzas. Then you can take your shift as a waiter or waitress and serve hungry heroes as they arrive. Tell them to take a seat, choose from the menu and then bring them the chow. YUM!

What’s your favorite treat at Astro’s?

For me it's definitely the chocolate milkshake! Yummmy!

Heroes of the Week 18 August

With so many wonderful heroes out there, it’s hard to pick just three for our Heroes of the Week, where we celebrate amazing heroes who go above and beyond the Space Hero code. They’re friendly, helpful, and most of all, heaps of fun to hang out with! They’re always there for other heroes, helping out new players and exploring the galaxy with their buddies.

Jason  is an amazing super hero who is always happy to help with his specialist taxi service! He uses the Squad up feature to get heroes where they need to go, anywhere in the galaxy!

Dragonboy is here to assist you! Whether you need to rescue a glowbie or adopt a glow, if it’s on Crystal Planet then he’s the alien to help you! Thanks Dragonboy for making the game so welcoming!

Courtney  is a new member and she hasn’t missed a minute trying on the latest costumes, checking out kritters and helping new heroes take their first steps as cadets! Thanks Courtney for making the game so wonderful for new heroes!

Are you an awesome Space Hero? Do you try your best to follow the Space Hero Code, help other heroes and have an awesome time exploring the galaxy? You might find yourself as Space Hero of the week next week!

Congratulations Heroes! Keep up the awesome work!

New Logout Screen

Hey Heroes!

Little Space Heroes has created a logout screen!

It seems like it is to collect feedback on why you're exiting the game, probably in the hopes of then improving the game so more heroes don't leave!

There's only one problem with it though!

For me, the logout screen seems to fall to pieces and show the Little Space Heroes game instead, that is why I took so long to post this, as I hoped the problem would be fixed.

Here's the best picture I could get!

(Click to make bigger)

As you can see my character has already come through the screen, and it gets much worse if I leave it longer...

What are your thoughts?

Do you like it? Does this happen to you?

Got my Purple Jacket

Hey Heroes!

Exciting news for me today as I have been added into the exclusive group of stars!

The exclusive group of stars is a group of heroes who

• Be active around Little Space Heroes throughout the week by helping new players through their first steps
• Come up to players alone in the game and playing with them if they're interested
• Keeping an eye out for rulebreakers or bad behaviour.

You have to be a great peace-keeper and adventurous and honest. Try to make heroes feel at home by being a friend, a guide or a problem solver.

The Little Space Heroes moderators are looking for heroes like this to give purple jackets and the Super Hero badge.

For more information about the Super Hero code. Click: HERE

Help us find the awesome heroes who are doing this, and maybe even you can join this amazing group.
